I'm a small town graphic artist who was born and raised in Southeast Iowa in 1995. My interest in art began in middle school when I discovered a passion for wildlife, but wolves were my main focus, and I began drawing them in my free time. Ever since then, I have kept a fond interest of the animal, hence the name
úlfur - wolf (Icelandic)
Throughout my life I have gained a group of friends who have worked collectively on many creative projects. We have worked together since high school to produce various forms of media including music, art, and video. Because of my friends, I was inspired to become a graphic artist.

After studying design at the University of Northern Iowa, I acquired an internship at LaMont Home; a furniture and textile company which was conveniently located in my hometown. A few months later, I landed a part time job at a local screen printing and embroidery business, AnyWear Apparel, where I made shirt designs for local schools, organizations, and businesses. It was here that I discovered a love for screen printing, and occasionally printed my own shirts as a hobby at home with friends and family being among the clients. Currently, I run my own business in my free time called Bottom Text where I design and sell shirts online.

In August 2019 I applied at Burlington Public Library in search of a position as a part time Library Aide. Not only was I hired for the job out of at least 100 applicants, I was hired for my experience in graphic design. I was later assigned to completely redesign their monthly calendar and newsletter. Later on, I was given the opportunity to design more things, including but not limited to; event flyers, library navigation signs, the art for summer reading each year, and even the new library logo.

My goal is to become a full time illustrator, art director and UI/UX designer, working with my friends and community to create designs that reflect my passions including music, wildlife, printed media such as books and art, and digital entertainment media.
